Frequently asked questions

What happens to a very wide sheet?

With “Fit all columns to the page width” the text gets smaller so every column fits. Turn it off to keep the font size; columns that don’t fit continue on following pages, like Excel’s own printing.

Does it work with Hindi, Telugu and the ₹ sign?

Yes. The standard PDF fonts only cover Latin letters, so cells with Indian scripts or ₹ are drawn by your browser as sharp images. They look right on screen and in print, but that text can’t be selected. All other text stays selectable.

Are formulas, charts and cell colours kept?

The PDF shows each cell’s value as Excel displays it, including number and date formats. Charts, images, cell colours and merged cells are not carried over.

Can I convert a password-protected workbook?

No. Open it in Excel, remove the password, save it and convert that copy.

Is my file uploaded anywhere?

No. Everything happens inside your browser, so bank statements, ID proofs, contracts and forms stay on your device.
