Frequently asked questions
Does it work with scanned PDFs?
Not directly. Scanned pages are pictures with no text. Run the file through OCR PDF first, then convert the searchable PDF here.
Columns are merged or split wrongly. How do I fix it?
Change “Column spacing”. Choose Tight if two columns are joined into one, or Wide if the words of one cell are split across columns. “All in one sheet” also lines up columns using every page together.
Will my bank statement amounts be numbers in Excel?
Yes. Amounts like 1,23,456.78, -500 or (1,200.00) are stored as numbers so you can add them up. Values with Dr/Cr, dates and account numbers with leading zeros stay as text.
Is my file uploaded anywhere?
No. Everything happens inside your browser, so bank statements, ID proofs, contracts and forms stay on your device.
