How to scan a document to PDF
- Press Scan with camera and hold the phone over the page. It captures automatically when the page is steady, or tap the shutter. You can also choose photos you already took.
- Check each page. Drag the corners if needed, then pick Auto, Grey, Black & white or Original.
- Reorder or rotate pages, choose A4 or Letter and quality, and press Create PDF.

Frequently asked questions
How does it find the page?
It separates the page from the background by brightness and fits the four corners automatically, then straightens the page as if it were scanned flat. It works best with the page on a darker, plain surface. You can always drag the corners yourself.
Which filter should I use?
Auto keeps colours (stamps, signatures, photos) but makes the paper white and removes shadows. Black & white gives the sharpest text and the smallest file, ideal for forms and printed pages. Grey is in between.
Can I make the PDF searchable?
Yes. Tick “Make text searchable” and choose the languages, including Hindi, Telugu, Tamil and other Indian languages. The text is read on your device and added as an invisible layer, so you can search and copy it.
How do I make the file small enough for an upload limit?
Choose Smallest file and the Black & white filter. A one-page scan is then usually under 200 KB. For an exact size limit, use Compress PDF afterwards.
Is it safe to use this tool with confidential PDFs?
Yes. Your PDF is processed entirely inside your browser and is never uploaded to a server, so bank statements, ID proofs and contracts stay on your device.
