Frequently asked questions

Will the PDF look exactly like my Word document?

For letters, resumes, assignments and reports it is usually very close: text, fonts, tables, images, lists, headers, footers and page size are kept. Text boxes, shapes, charts, SmartArt and equations may look different. Check the preview before saving.

Why did a line or page break move?

Page breaks depend on fonts. Calibri, Cambria, Arial and Times New Roman are replaced with look-alike fonts of the same width when your device doesn’t have them, which keeps most pages identical. Other fonts may wrap differently.

Can I convert an old .doc file?

Not directly. Open it in Word, WPS Office or Google Docs and save or download it as .docx, then convert that file here.

Is my document uploaded?

No. The conversion happens in your browser, so it is safe for CVs, certificates and private documents.

How do I save the PDF on a phone?

On Android, choose “Save as PDF” as the printer and tap the download button. On iPhone, tap the share icon in the print options and choose Save to Files.

Is the text in the PDF selectable?

Yes. The PDF contains real text, so it can be searched and copied, and Telugu, Hindi and other Indian languages are supported.
