Files are encrypted with AES-256, the strongest standard PDF encryption. Security depends on your password, so use at least 8 characters with letters and numbers.
What if I forget the password?
It cannot be recovered. Keep a note of it or keep an unprotected copy in a safe place.
Is it safe to use this tool with confidential PDFs?
Yes. Your PDF is processed entirely inside your browser and is never uploaded to a server, so bank statements, ID proofs and contracts stay on your device.
