Why is no text found in my PDF?
Scanned PDFs contain pictures of pages rather than text. Text can only be read from them with OCR (optical character recognition).
Is the formatting kept?
Line breaks are kept where possible, but fonts, tables and columns are not. The result is plain text.
Is it safe to use this tool with confidential PDFs?
