Frequently asked questions

Does editing reduce the photo’s resolution?

No. The preview is made from a smaller copy so the sliders respond quickly, but the download is processed again at the original width and height.

What is the difference between exposure and brightness?

Exposure multiplies the light like a camera setting, so bright areas get brighter faster. Brightness adds the same amount everywhere, which can make shadows look grey.

How do I warm up a cold photo?

Move the Warmth slider to the right. It adds red and yellow and removes blue, which fixes photos taken under tube lights or in shade.

Are my photos uploaded?

No. Everything happens in your browser, so your photos never leave your phone or computer.
