Frequently asked questions
Can a blur be reversed?
Strong pixelation or a black box cannot be reversed. A light blur on text can sometimes be partly read, so use a high strength or a black box for sensitive text such as account numbers.
Can I blur the whole photo?
Yes. Tick “Apply to the whole image” for a blurred background or a privacy-safe preview.
Are my photos uploaded to a server?
No. The image is processed by your own browser. It never leaves your phone or computer, so it is safe for ID photos and personal pictures.
