Frequently asked questions
Is the draw fair?
Yes. Each winner is chosen with your browser’s cryptographically secure random generator, so every remaining entry has the same chance. The rolling names are only for show; the winner is chosen before the animation starts.
Can someone win twice?
No. A winner is removed from the pool for the rest of the draw. If the same name appears twice in a names list it counts as two tickets, unless you tick “Remove duplicate names”.
Can I use ticket numbers?
Yes. Choose Ticket numbers and type ranges such as 1-500, 1001-1200, with an optional prefix like “T-”. Sold-out gaps can be skipped by writing several ranges.
In what order are prizes drawn?
In the order you list them. Many events draw consolation prizes first and the bumper prize last, so put the biggest prize at the bottom.
