Frequently asked questions
Why didn’t my photos get smaller?
JPG, PNG, MP4, PDF and Office files are already compressed, so zipping them saves little. They are stored as-is for speed.
Can I add a password to the ZIP?
Not here. To protect the content, encrypt the ZIP with our file encryption tool after creating it.
Are my files uploaded?
No. Files are read and processed by your browser on your own device, so there is no upload wait and no size limit set by a server.
