Frequently asked questions
In which order should I post the tiles?
Post tile #1 first and the highest number last. Instagram puts the newest post at the top left, so posting in this order makes the full picture appear correctly on your profile.
What is the difference between grid posts and carousel slides?
Grid posts are separate posts that form a big picture on your profile. Carousel slides go inside one post, and people swipe through them from left to right, so they are numbered left to right.
Which tile shape should I use?
Instagram’s profile grid now shows posts as 3:4 rectangles, while the feed shows square or 4:5 posts. Pick 3:4 if the profile grid matters most, or square for the classic look.
Are my photos uploaded?
No. Everything happens in your browser, so your photos never leave your phone or computer.
