How is fuel cost calculated?
Fuel needed = distance ÷ mileage. Cost = fuel needed × price per litre. A 350 km trip at 15 km/l and ₹103 per litre costs about ₹2,403.
What mileage should I use?
Use your car’s real highway mileage, which is usually 10–20% lower than the ARAI-certified figure.
