Chain Reaction Game
The explosive strategy game: load up cells, set off chain reactions and turn the board your colour. Play against the computer or with friends on one device.
How to play
- On your turn, tap an empty cell or one of your own to add an orb.
- A cell explodes when it gets one orb for each of its neighbours: 2 in a corner, 3 on an edge and 4 in the middle.
- An explosion sends an orb to each neighbour and turns those cells your colour, which can set off more explosions.
- Lose all your orbs and you are out. The last player left wins.

Frequently asked questions
What are the rules?
Players take turns adding an orb to an empty cell or one of their own. A cell explodes when it has as many orbs as neighbours: 2 in a corner, 3 on an edge and 4 in the middle. The explosion sends an orb to each neighbour and makes those cells yours, which can set off more explosions. A player with no orbs left is out; the last player standing wins.
How many people can play?
From 2 to 8. Mix people and computer players in any combination, or play Pass & play with everyone sharing one phone or computer.
Any tips?
Corners and edges explode with fewer orbs, so they make good weapons. Avoid loading a cell next to an opponent’s cell that is about to explode, and try to set off chains that run into their territory.
Can I play full screen?
Yes. Press Full screen during a game. The screen stays on while you play.
