Frequently asked questions

What are the rules?

Roll a 6 to bring a token out. A 6, a capture or bringing a token home gives another roll, but three 6s in a row lose the turn. Landing on an opponent sends it back to its yard, except on start squares and star squares, which are safe. You need the exact number to reach home.

How do I play Ludo online with friends?

Choose Online with friends and Create room, then share the room code or QR code. Friends open this page, enter the code and join. Empty seats can be filled by the computer. Phones connect directly to each other, and if someone drops out the computer takes over their tokens.

What is Quick mode?

In Quick mode every token starts on the board and the first player to get one token home wins, so a game takes a few minutes.

Is the dice fair?

Yes. Every roll uses your browser’s secure random generator. In an online game the host’s device rolls for everyone, so nobody can change their own dice.

How good is the computer?

Hard plays like a careful player: it captures, heads for safe squares and runs from danger. Easy makes more random moves, which suits children.
