Frequently asked questions
How much money do I need to retire in India?
It depends on your expenses, inflation and how long retirement lasts. A common rule of thumb is 25–35 times your annual expenses at retirement. This calculator gives a more precise figure based on your inputs.
How is the retirement corpus calculated?
The calculator inflates your current expenses to your retirement date, then finds the amount that can fund those expenses (growing with inflation) for every month of retirement while the corpus earns the post-retirement return.
